It’s weird how one letter, one person, can make you feel like you’re on cloud nine. How one person can finally get you to believe how wonderful you are.
But really, it’s amazing. I hope everyone can find that feeling in life, whether its from a letter, yourself, a loved one, anything really.

It’s times like these when I truly believe in a God, or heaven, or something bigger than me because it’s the only way I can assure myself that those that I love will always be with me, even after they are gone.
It’s also a time like this when you realize how truly lucky you are to have people in your life to support you, no matter where you are. I am so thankful for that.
To be part of such a special family, and know that a part of my Nonno will always live on in me is a gift that is invaluable to me. I cherished every summer spent with him and the rest of my family and know that he did too. He helped me grow up, pursue different things, and taught me to really think. He was such an amazing person who lived his life fully, had an amazing family that he got to see grow up, and who loved him more than he will ever imagine.
I will miss him so much, but it’s life.

I hate when…
I have to admit to myself that although I am receiving an amazing education and becoming so much more intelligent than my senior-year self… that there is no one (except one person) that I think I will keep in touch with after I graduate… Sucks when having a social life is a chore
